Making it easier

Sorting a week ahead

Turns taking your supplements from a decision you make every day into one you make once a week.

What to do

Once a week, put everything you take into a seven-day box with a morning and an evening compartment. Then keep the box where you will actually be at those times — beside the bed, in your bag, on your desk. The bottles can go back in the cupboard.

The night before your week starts, right after you plug your phone in to charge.

On a hard day: Fill two days instead of seven.

What this is based on

Taking several things a day usually fails on logistics rather than willpower: not having them where you are, and losing track of whether you already took them. Sorting ahead answers both — the decision is made once, and an empty compartment tells you what you did without your having to remember.
